Waterman Boreham appointed for proposed Energy from Waste and Materials Recovery Facility
Waterman Boreham has been appointed by Covanta Energy for its proposed Energy from Waste (EfW) and Materials Recovery Facility at Rookery South Pit in Bedfordshire. When built the facility will be capable recycling household and business waste to generate heat and electricity.
The proposed facility is expected to convert on average 585,000 tonnes of residual waste per year into 65MWe of electricity.
Waterman Boreham are to provide the input to environmental impact assessment and provision of the transport assessment report for planning application.
